Mumtahina Hossain was born and raised in New York City. Ms. Hossain earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice in Family Medicine with a subspeciality in Women’s Health from Columbia University School of Nursing. She completed her clinical training in outpatient primary care, adult internal medicine, and obstetrics/gynecology. She is board-certified in family medicine.Ms. Hossain received her Master of Science in Nursing from Columbia University School of Nursing. During her career, Ms. Hossain worked as a medical-surgical and cardiac stepdown registered nurse at New York-Presbyterian.Ms. Hossain received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a specialty in Biology and Chemistry from Stony Brook University.
