Dr. Christina Bueno is a licensed clinical neuropsychologist specializing in comprehensive neuropsychological assessment, psychotherapy and cognitive remediation. She has expertise in treating adults with ADHD and executive functioning difficulties, as well as individuals experiencing cognitive, emotional and behavioral concerns related to neurological, psychiatric and medical conditions.Dr. Bueno earned her Doctor of Psychology degree in Combined School-Clinical Psychology from Kean University. She completed her clinical internship in Clinical Neuropsychology in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Northwell Health Staten Island University Hospital, followed by specialized training in the neuropsychological assessment of Spanish-speaking populations at Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation. She completed postdoctoral training at the Mount Sinai Epilepsy Center before completing a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology in the Department of Psychiatry at Weill Cornell Medicine/NewYork-Presbyterian.Dr. Bueno’s clinical, educational, and research interests are guided by a commitment to culturally informed care and improving equitable access to high-quality mental healthcare for diverse and medically underserved populations. Drawing on her experience in academic medical centers, she also has an interest in supporting healthcare professionals navigating burnout, anxiety and occupational stress.
